Sports Authority has a promotion if you buy a pair of sneakers and pay $10 up front you can bring in the pair you bought anytime up to one year and trade them in for a new pair (doesn't have to be the same kind). If the new pair you want is more you just pay the difference. Seems to good to be true. _________________ we couldn't do diddley poo offensively |

Seems like a place desperate for cash, though who knows what kinda deal they made with the sneaker companies.
I thought they all already closed down....they did down here.
If they go Circuit City style it might be tough to redeem the old kicks. |

yeah its only $10 though. It is a shitty store that I normally wouldn't go to but they had a $25 off $100 coupon in the Sunday paper and we both needed sneakers. _________________ we couldn't do diddley poo offensively |

| I've been in that situation before (a couple of times) and have had a 100% success rate with a screw gun and a claw hammer, but my guess is that if you're on the town you won't have a drill and a hammer on you. |

Related: saw one at textsfromlastnight that indicated a bottle was opened with a shoe. I've been trying to figure out the mechanics of that one all morning. Ladies shoe with the buckle used to peal the plastic, and using a heel to push the cork in? I'm stymied. _________________ Men like sports. | Pushing the cork in with a pen (or something similar) works if you're in a pinch. |
